Most people don’t lack information. They lack a starting point. The Journey gives you one.

You were made for more.

Not more activity. Not more striving. More life — the kind Jesus said He came to give, life in all its fullness. (John 10:10, NKJV)

But fullness doesn’t happen by accident. It requires a journey. And every journey worth taking has a starting point, a direction, and a destination.

The Journey is a three-part discipleship course designed to take you from where you are to where God always intended you to be. Written by Pastor Daniel K. Norris and Dr. Debra G. Milton, each book builds on the one before it — walking you through the foundational questions every believer must answer if they want to live the life they were created for.

Who am I? Why am I here? What will I leave behind?

These aren’t abstract questions. They are the questions that, when answered, unlock everything. The Journey is your invitation to answer them — once and for all.

BOOK 1

The Journey: Identity

Before you can go anywhere, you have to know who you are.

Here is the truth that most believers never fully receive: You are not who your past says you are. You are not who your failures say you are. You are not who your family, your fear, or your failures have defined you to be.

You are who God says you are.

But knowing that in your head and living from it in your daily life are two very different things. The gap between what most Christians believe about God and what they actually believe about themselves is where spiritual stagnation lives.

The Journey: Identity closes that gap.

In Book 1, Daniel K. Norris and Dr. Debra G. Milton take you deep into the biblical foundations of your identity in Christ — not as theology to memorize, but as truth to inhabit. You will discover the lies you have been living under, the names God has called you by since before you were born, and the unshakable foundation that remains when everything else is stripped away.

This is where the journey begins. Not with a calling. Not with a plan. With you — fully known, fully loved, fully free.

If you have ever felt like you were living someone else’s life, this book was written for you.

BOOK 2

The Journey: Calling

You were not saved to sit.

Salvation is not the finish line. It is the starting gun.

Version 1.0.0

The moment you stepped into the kingdom of God, you stepped into a purpose that was written before you drew your first breath. (Ephesians 2:10, ESV) There is a specific assignment with your name on it — a kingdom role that only you can fill, in the place where only you have been planted, with the gifts that only you carry.

Most believers never find it. Not because God hid it. Because no one ever showed them how to look.

The Journey: Calling is the map.

In Book 2, you will move beyond the vague feeling that you are supposed to be doing something more and into the concrete, Spirit-led process of discovering your unique calling. Daniel and Dr. Milton guide you through discerning your gifts, aligning your life with your purpose, and taking the first courageous steps toward the assignment God has been preparing you for all along.

This is not a career assessment. This is a kingdom reckoning.

Calling is not reserved for pastors and missionaries. It is for every believer who is willing to say yes. This book will help you figure out what yes looks like for you.

BOOK 3

The Journey: Legacy

The question is not whether you will leave a legacy. You will. The question is what kind.

Every life leaves a mark. A trail of influence — in families, in friendships, in the communities where we lived and the people we touched. The only variable is whether that mark was intentional or accidental, eternal or temporary, life-giving or something else.

Legacy is not built at the end of life. It is built right now. In the decisions you are making today. In the habits you are forming this week. In the relationships you are investing in or neglecting. In the faithfulness or unfaithfulness that no one sees but God.

The Journey: Legacy calls you to live with the end in mind — not in a morbid way, but in the most life-giving way imaginable. When you know what you want to be true about your life when it is over, you live differently today.

In Book 3, Daniel and Dr. Milton bring The Journey to its defining conclusion — helping you build a life that outlasts you. You will learn what it means to disciple the next generation, steward your influence well, and build something that cannot be shaken because it is built on the right foundation. (Matthew 7:24-27, ESV)

You were not put on this earth to simply survive it. You were put here to leave it better than you found it.

This is how you do that.
